Description

One line

A dark-fantasy survivor where you last twenty minutes against a cursed night by building a storm of self-casting spells and Awakening them into something monstrous.

Paragraph

The fire is out and the woods are waking up. In Ignisfall you only move: your spells cast themselves, and every level-up is a choice. Pick one of six hunters, enter one of three lands, and survive until dawn. Fireballs, ice spears, lightning, blood tethers, grave lanterns and hounds of ash stack into a build. Max a skill out, own its catalyst, and the next chest Awakens it: Fireball becomes Ashfall, a rain of meteors. Thirteen bosses with telegraphed spells, elites with deadly affixes and a rising curse push back. Between runs, bank your gold in the Armory, climb the Embers and fill the Codex.

Features

  • 20-minute runs against hundreds of monsters at once, tuned to hold 60 FPS
  • 6 hunters, each with a starting skill, a passive and their own stats
  • 3 lands (Ashen Wilds, Drowned Marsh, Bone Catacombs), each with exclusive monsters and bosses
  • 26 skills and 16 Awakenings, 32 relics you can see on your hunter
  • 7 schools of Resonance that reward committing to a build
  • 13 bosses with shaped, telegraphed spells, plus elites with deadly affixes
  • Embers 0 to 10, endless mode with the Pale Reaper, daily and weekly challenges
  • Armory upgrades, achievements, run history and a full Codex
  • Controller and Steam Deck friendly, 8 languages, accessibility options

History

Ignisfall started as a browser prototype and was rebuilt from scratch in the Godot Engine. It is made by a solo developer in Brazil, inspired by Vampire Survivors, Halls of Torment and the gothic look of classic Diablo. The name joins the Latin ignis, fire, with the fall of night: the fire that rains down to hold the dark back until dawn.
